More of a series of postcards than a painting, but they were beautifully drawn postcards. Like eating with a nonpartisan, this is a little too political and ambiguous for my taste. This animated film is drawn out to fill all the volumes of the original graphic novel series, but at least the images are strong beneath the watered down storyline.
