I would've loved to see Schwarzenegger rip out Richard Dawson's god-damn spine. Anyway, first time rewatching Paul Michael Glaser's Running Man and it is still so damn fun. I love that they almost got 2017 right, I love the deep-fake videos, this version of Sub-Zero should be a hidden character in the next Mortal Kombat, I love the one-liners, I really enjoy Richard Dawson in this, especially the scenes with the old lady, the airport scene was fantastic and the outfits are classic. The Running Man is a fantastic 80's cheesy action movie that will never fail to entertain someone. A lovely rewatch.

Might not share a lot with its source material but it is entertaining as its own thing. You get Arnold and his one liners, outrageous villains, and a some 80’s sci fi aesthetics. That’s enough for me to be entertained for an hour and a half.
