Blane, "Spider" KSN2021, a volunteer REACT (Radio Emergency Associated Communication Teams) station in Union gets upset at people abusing their citizen's band radios. He mounts a rotatable receive loop on his car hood, and uses radio direction finding to go after violators of the FCC rules. Connie & Joyce, wives of the same trucker, Harold, discover each other, and find out about the double life he has been living.

One of Paul Thomas Anderson's movies apparently. I was looking forward to seeing it as Jonothan Demme was one of the better Hollywood directors of the 80's and 90's but this early effort was pretty poor. Good to see Paul Le Mat again though. American Graffiti was a big part of my childhood. But I have barely seen any of his other films. Go watch that, not this. This isn't of much interest. It does get better towards the end but not enough to make it worth watching.
