You know those old jokes, "If someone kidnapped my kid, they'd pay me to take her back." I can't believe anyone would want to keep that kid. She's a spoiled brat who screwed up 2 major things in the first 5 minutes, with no repercussions. And I'm a laid-back parent who never calls kids brats.

One of the earlier highlights of Alfred Hitchcock's career and the blueprint for his remake 20 years later or so. 1934's The Man Who Knew Too Much has a very high pace because of its short runtime of around 75 minutes so everything happens really fast. Which helps the film. You have a stellar bad guy in Peter Lorre. I always love him showing up. We have a ski-accident, murder, kidnapping, a Hitchcock cameo, sharpshooters, a chair throwing fight and a shoot-out at the end. Peter Lorre is the highlight and you it is always fun to see the beginning of the Master of Suspense his beautiful career. A fun rewatch and if you haven't seen it yet, you can't go wrong with 75 minutes of Alfred Hitchcock.
