Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Love this movie so much! Should've won the Oscar!

A great movie. Different of every stop motion i ever watched. But a little too scary for kids.

This tale about a boy who sees ghosts and attempts to save his town from a witch-applied curse is surprisingly scary in spots. This is not typical animation for kids. It's more adult and has much in common with "Coraline" in both its pacing and its look. I absolutely loved the stop-motion animation and I wish there were more movies being made using it. The story is not a religious tale but it confusingly lumps aspects of religion (Heaven/Hell) with witchcraft and zombies. None of these begets the other, so using them altogether to relay a message of tolerance is going to be a little complicated for kids waiting for fart jokes. In fact, asking a restless kid to watch "ParaNorman" would be a bad idea. There's a lot of dialogue and not much action for lengthy stretches. It really feels more adult. Best to show that kid one of the "Transformers" movies again. The final act and the Witch's storm was eye-popping. It was very impressive and was one of the more amazing moments of animation I've seen at the Movies.

I am such a sucker for stop motion animation as there is just something about it that I absolutely adore so I just knew I would surely love this film and I definitely did, like it was so much fun from start to finish and the animation was stunning. I so wish I checked out this movie years ago like I freaking loved it so much. The story was so goofy and wacky with so many hilarious moments, the characters were so cool and I loved their strange designs, the animation was insane and i just love the style of the movie so much, it’s everything that I’m such a massive fan of, plus it was so weird which made me love it even more (I love anything that is strange and unusual). My favourite moment in this was easily that part where the guys at the vending machine and like even though he’s shitting his pants due to those zombies, he still had to grab his snack, it was so funny, I also loved the end when Mitch says he’s got a boyfriend which caught me way off guard as didn’t expect him to be gay, so funny. It is such a great little animation and I genuinely can’t recommend it enough if you love anything that’s like Tim Burton animations or if you’re just a big fan of stop motions animation in general. I am giving this a 9 out of 10 but I am honestly so tempted to give it a 10 (it might change in a few days). Such a fun movie. 9/10
