Can't help it...I just like this movie. The story, the voices, the action...all of it. The voices are especially good. Over the Hedge is some good fun for the whole family.

Animated movie about what friendship really is. Highly amusing!

"I'm gonna gas you so hard your grandchildren will stink!" That scene were Hammy (Steve Carell) drinks that energy drink and everything moves in slow motion is such a great, great scene. I didn't expect it at all. Did X-Men get their inspiration from a Dreamworks Animation movie? Anyway Over the Hedge has a simple plot, fun characters, a great cast (Bruce Willis, Steve Carell, Catherina O'Hara just to name a few), some fun jokes and a sweet 80 minute run time. Which makes it a perfect morning movie. Because of it's easy, very easy, to follow plot you can slowly wake up and if you miss a few seconds because of a morning yawn, you can still follow along. I also don't know why Over the Hedge isn't talked about that much. It is solid 2000's animation movie and perfect for kids to watch. Even the parents will enjoy it. So if your looking for an heist movie and one that is animated, Over the Hedge is what you are looking for.

Clever and funny, _Over the Hedge_ is a wildly entertaining adventure from DreamWorks Animation. When a bunch of foraging critters come out of hibernation to find themselves walled off from a newly build gated community by a hedge, a street smart raccoon teaches them how to live in suburbia. The cast is excellent; featuring Bruce Willis, William Shatner, Garry Shandling, Steve Carell, and Avril Lavigne, who all deliver wonderful performances. And the animation is especially good, with incredible detail and creative designs. The music by Ben Folds is also well-done, giving a lot of energy and character to the film. Delightfully hilarious, _Over the Hedge_ is a smartly made comedy that's good family fun.
