I must give this movie a 9 as it was my favourite Disney Channel original movie. I still know the songs by heart, and I still believe that they should’ve made a sequel.

A little cringy at times but still overall a cute disney movie for what it's worth, and definitely better than a lot of their other stuff.

I only watched this because Hayley Kiyoko is in this movie and I must say, this was really, REALLY american. Really Disney-ish and so really predictable but I guess a little bit fun? I'm aware I'm not the public targeted anyways so... ^-^ But it was funny how everything in the movie and the promotions pictures tried to push Olivia as the center while Stella should actually be the main character (but she's not white and this is Hollywood I guess?).

Although it can't escape some over-acting and contrived dialogue this movie was an upside surprise featuring a surprisingly capable cast for a DCOM, and an even better original soundtrack. The soundtrack has some real bangers!

Another great heartlfelt moving family film by Disney about a group of high school misfits who discover their all musically in sync during a detention session and are encouraged by the music teacher to form a band and compete. The plot development is at a good pace as the viewer can see the heart warming friendship that develops between the group as a whole and individually. And it is shown in their music that inspires the whole high school to fight for what they believe in. A few rising Disney stars in this film that make for an all-star cast.
