Better than the average Sci-Fi channel, CGI shark movie. Reasons include: good leads with D.B. Sweeney and Kristy Swanson (and nice villain turn by Robert Davi), shark itself wasn't shown so often that it loses it fear, likeable characters, fast pacing. It's still a big dumb shark movie, but much better than it has any right to be.

I can't believe I watched this stupid movie....
