A very unique choice to start a franchise on. However, even if they don't end up making a sequel, the film is pretty well made and only lacks in the story as Charlotte Best does a fantastic job in the lead role here. Special effects are pretty good too. But the pacing and story are lacking. Nothing about the flashbacks felt fleshed out and even though a lot of the twists are given too early, I felt like it could have eased into them a lot smoother. Overall, it isn't great at all, nor good. But middle-ground is where I'd put it. Definitely not a viewing experience for all.

There's just so much unexplained here. Too much. Which makes the entire movie pretty useless. How I rate: 1-3 ❤ = seriously! don't waste your time 4-6 ❤ = you may or may not enjoy this 7-8 ❤ = I expect you will like this too 9-10 ❤ = movies and TV shows I really love!
