It's a bit of a cheesy melodrama, but it's got enough crowd-pleasing moments along with a solid performance from Houston to make it a perfect Sunday afternoon movie.

This movie is a classic for the ages! They don't make movies like this anymore, great in every aspect.

Entertaining, predictable at some moments. Good chemistry between Costner and Houston. Nice songs, obviously.

Goodness. How beautiful was Whitney Houston? IMO the most talented vocalist of all time.
