It’s been a tiring year all around and I was feeling particularly low when I watched this movie and...it gives you hope. The journey may be tedious but it is well worth the blood, sweat and tears. Still can't wrap my head around just how perfectly it was executed. With every last Suriya movie we've been getting closer to THE Suriya we haven't seen onscreen in a while, and safe to say Sudha Kongara extracted the best out of him. Suriya is back and how! PS: The story hardly revolves around the romance angle, but the dynamics between Maara and Bommi were such a TREAT. Here's finally a Kollywood movie that empowers its women without it being forced or nonsensical.

Sudha Kongara is a directing godess. she's delivered an absolute gem of a movie and Bommi is such a cutie. the perfect woman, really. very empowering and Surya, as always, is a treat.

Based on true story, worth watching, whole movie had me in tears.

Very good story telling with almost perfect execution. The progression of the movie were told extremely well without a dull moment. Everyone in the movie acted their part very well. Thank you Sudha for giving us such a wonderful Diwali gift during the pandemic. Highly recommended watch! Kudos to the whole team! 9/10
