Typical rape revenge plot plays out in a run-of-the-mill fashion. Nothing much to say really. Moving on.

Well acted drama that involves from the start.

Like an art gallery where the curator leaves so many handprints on the case that you can't really see what's in inside. The story was dramatic enough without all the close-ups, overpowering music, artsy set pieces, flash backs, odd camera angles and long, drawn out scenes which kept pushing the drama envelope until it fell into melodrama.

I have a few people in my life who have experiences being adopted and have had the trauma of meeting their birth mother and/or father. This movie does a nice job of capturing the difficulty in that meeting by showing that each person's life is then turned upside down. The movie that takes a major turn and becomes something quite different than where the viewer thinks it is going to go.
