I'm mexican and this was awful bad. 80% dances, 15% family drama, 3% History, and 2% of fun. You'll better not drink this skim milk. 3000 years of latin history? BS.

Awfully misguided in how it makes fun of everything from muslims to carribeans, even though the point can be gotten across without it. The humour was flat, and the gag that tied the show together about his son was really flimsy. The only saving grace of the show is the book references that are given throughout the show which are actually great recommendations for people that are interested in knowing about the history of the native american tribes.

It was interesting and educational, especially from a european point of view. It adresses many points that my history lessons didn't/couldn't cover. The comedy part though was lost completely on me. I did not find it funny. But that could be due to my cultural background, which is nowhere near american and/or latin.

I'm not latin and this gave a big and much needed insight into latin people and their history
