Are You There God? is a wonderful film. Although the story centers around a young woman and puberty, the subplots offer enough complexity to capture the interest of parents, especially those with young daughters. The characters are charming, the comedy is intelligent, and the narrative is heartwarming.

Are you there God? It's me, a fan of movies like this, which no one makes anymore. Please let Kelly Fremon Craig make 100 more movies 🙏 Also, "Son of a Preacher Man" might be the single most inspired song choice of all time. 😂

After knowing of the book and seeing the film get great reviews, I had to check it out. To be clear, I am not the target audience for this movie whatsoever. It is undeniably solid and the audience it is meant for will surely love it. Rating: 3.5/5 - 80% - Would Recommend

A sincere heartfelt adaptation of a most beloved teen novel. Everyone was perfectly cast, but my favourite were the parents. They were so loving and tried so hard to be good parents.

Since I am not a girl, I can't really relate too much to what happened in this movie, but I can still enjoy it. This is a very good coming-of-age story that really portrays those awkward middle school years well.
