"When I started watching, it immediately crossed my mind that this would just be another teen romance movie where the unpopular, 'nerd' boy falls platonically for the new girl at school, suffers from unrequited love, and so on... I was wrong. As the story progresses, the contextual landscape shifts, turning into a melodrama driven by a lesser-known condition related to electromagnetic radiation, and a mutual desire that is suppressed by a simple block. I don't know why it's so hard to say 'I LOVE YOU!' to someone you like. Overall, the Philippines isn't known for being strong in melodramas, but the story in the end is so good that it won me over emotionally and visually. In the verdict, the film leaves you surprisingly emotional; however, it stretches beyond a runtime that is slightly longer than the movie actually needs.
