Very much reminds me of Woody Allen's movies, in general, but _Another Woman_ (1988) in particular. The difference being, Allen would have enough sense to end the story properly. _Mr. Jealousy_ was okay, up to the ending. I can handle a lot in fiction, but when the entire plot is about personal growth, yet you end it by having the main character diving back into a toxic relationship, head first. No! Not on my watch! Does this happen in reality? Of course, but it is rightly viewed as caustic. Here, it is depicted as romantic. Much is said about the destructive power of violent movies, be they horror or gritty action movies, but I have never bought into that being valid in the slightest. However, I do think the unhealthy behavior shown in romance movies does have a negative effect, in particular because it is conveyed as funny or sweet. Although this film is good up to a point, I cannot recommend it.
