Went in with low expectations and came out really liking it. A great crime drama with a terrific performance from Hugh Jackman.

Hugh Jackman & Ray Romano Were Brilliant, And Allison Janney Was Fantastic As Well - A Fun & Brilliant Story And Great Ensemble Of Actors Worth Watching

True crime with Allison Janney and Hugh Jackman? Count me in. And it didn't disappoint, but it also didn't amaze. I was surprised by how straightforward the entire film was. There were rarely any surprise turns and what small twists there were, were telegraphed well in advance. Thankfully the performances were solid and the story was intriguing enough to hold my attention.

This movie is about a scandal in a Long Island school district not long after the turn of the century. The story is interesting and the acting is excellent (as you would expect with Jackman and Janney as the leads). The movie is exactly what you would expect it to be, for better worse.
