I feel like I saw a different movie than other commenters. For me, this one was exceptionally fresh, except for the whole "haunted house" premise. The characters did not do follow the usual "what's that noise? I better check it out because I'm dumb" routine, all three lead actors were SUPERB playing their respective characters and the plot was more than believable (until the supernatural that is). Definitely a fresh take and, boy oh boy, the house was amazingly well done, interior-wise.

Bad acting .. dull story... awful movie.... waste of money.

You Should Have Left'' Whoa, it's spooky that the movie tried to warn to stay away from watching it, but just like a horror movie, I ignored it.

I was looking forward to seeing this, then was wanting to like it, to what a fucking disappointment! Like others have said, Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried couldn't even save this disaster. I did get a copy of this, now I'll delete it, it was such a waste of time! Even worse, I wasted my Halloween night watching this garbage.

Hands down the best (horror/thriller) movie I've watched this year. I love Kevin Bacon and I'm into everything he does, but this was a great story and exceptional acting (also by the kid).
