This'll be a love or hate film for viewers... If you don't resonate with this era of electronic music, then the film will feel like as predictable and pandering as anything else. If you do though, then the film serves as a rich and engaging time capsule.

Underwhelming. The friendship was cheesy and the movie was a little boring and predictable. The drama was average at best.

The rave scene has never appealed to me, and so I was unsure of what to expect with this film. Thankfully, it was better than expected, not because of the dance and music, but because of the friendship of the two lads at the core of the film, each trying to exist in a world that rejects them.

Mediocre for more people I guess. If you ever dabbled in the rave scene though, this film will evoke some forgotten memories that’ll resonate with you deeply.
