Panders to the convictions of the bourgeois left. The asylum seekers are nice, soft spoken family men with good taste in literature. They meet beautiful French women who love them and want to have a family with them. But the law and the bureaucracy mess everything up. Weird that films like this that only think they are progressive still find backing and audiences.
