Its a metaphor! As a metalhead, this was extremely entertaining. As someone who isn't, I could see this being a test of patience. Just the right amount t of awkward humor.

As a metalhead, I really enjoyed this kind of movie. It doesn't make sense for non-metalhead. I hope there are many more to come very soon.

A silly, feel-good comedy about... death metal. Yeah, we don't get many good movies about metal, so if you're a fan of the genre, you'll probably like this. It doesn't have the same appeal as _This is Spinal Tap_ (1984) or _Deathgasm_ (2015), but it is able to tell its simple story without wasting time. Not any big laughs to be found here, but I might have chuckled a time or two. I also don't speak Finnish, so the jokes probably work better when you don't have to read subtitles. What really saves the movie is the feeling of triumph that propels it forward. Our four-piece group is likable, and there's just enough conflict to keep it all interesting, though it's good to keep the expectations low. Recommended to metalheads who want a light comedy. Anyone else... well, take your chances.

Surprisingly strong and authentic first half. Second half becomes a bit generic and derivative. Entertaining though. Definitely worth a watch.

This Finnish film about an out of sorts metal band who wants to play a festival in Norway starts off rock and roll and finishes Top 40. When this kind of indie film could be anything it wanted to be, why would it choose to be normal?
