It's interesting the way this movie holds your attention, really hard 127 hours that the real climber faced. Very good acting from James Franco. I recommend watching this movie, I really liked it.
very good movie, Franco did it right this time! The Arm cutting was horrible and unwatchable.....! Everything was perfect, the shooting, the acting, the plot were all near perfect to us. #leson learnt- Keep a note before you go anywhere. Very Inspiring.
I watched this movie because I couldn't understand how a 90 minute movie about a guy being stuck in a canyon could get such good reviews. To me, it sounded really boring. And honestly, there are some boring bits, but overall they did a really good job making it interesting. Some scenes are incredibly intense, I almost had to look away in agony. The power of this movie lies in the creative portrayal of how a hopeless situation can drive someone crazy and the places an individual can find strength and hope. Great filmmaking, nice shots of canyons, great actor, great story about hope and the will to survive, but it's just too intense for my taste. I just hope nobody ever gets into a situation like this again, it must be truly terrifying..
This film is an incredibly tense & emotional true story that grips you from the first moment. It's a testament to human spirit's will to survive against impossible odds, making you feel every agonizing second alongside the protagonist. Based on the book "Between a Rock and a Hard Place" by Aron Ralston , who had to cut his arm to escape after being pinned by a boulder for 5 days in Bluejohn Canyon. Directed by Danny Boyle, it's a masterclass in tension, even though you know the outcome. You vouch for Aron, you hope somebody will come to help, you stick to him. It's a powerful experience that leaves a lasting impression, showcasing good cinematography and a truly transformative performance from James Franco. The two girls appear to be the only other characters that were there and actually were good, and you hope for them to return to find Aron, at the same time you know it ain't happening. But you keep hoping for it.
