Bette Davis is fabulous in anything she does. Good movie with a not so obvious ending.

I didn't believe a word of this but Bette's belief was there for both of us. If I was her I would have pretended to lose my memories so I could be a new person in everyone's efforts in bringing them all back to me, but that would have required another Act. The pretence though was not in her nature really. One sister had the authenticity, the other was rootless. I guessed the twist and ending as soon as they got on the boat together. The fog, lighthouse and tumultuous sea were the chief elements.
