An unhappily happy drama! Written and directed by Yasuhiro Yoshida, who had the brilliant idea of turning a drama that started out sad into one with a happy ending. Without a doubt, both the creativity and the story put into practice in this film are major highlights. Transforming a tragic moment into something good is no small feat, but the way it was conceptualized and executed is unquestionably Yasuhiro Yoshida's greatest achievement. Excellent movie!
