Hello? What's the matter, cat got your tongue? I know what you’re thinking seriously a 10/10 for this movie really? Well what can I say I loved movies like this growing up and I honestly think See spot run is very underrated hardly anyone knows about the movie, and this genre just doesn’t get the best reviews in general, what I love about them you don’t have to think about the plot you can just sit back and enjoy the fun over the stop stupidity especially for this film. 24% on rotten tomatoes is just ridiculous I think they didn’t get the point of the movie at all what did you want a well crafted plot? It’s not that type of movie it’s a dog going up against a Mafia mob ffs lol why do people take things so seriously. The plot isn’t perfect and I don’t care one single bit it’s such a wacky ridiculous movie I can remember the first time I watched it pissing myself laughing at the goofy randomness and to me that’s what your looking for with theses movies there was two completely different sides to this movie with the story. Some of the dialogue and scenes were so random especially the dance battle where did that come from I freaking loved it though Arquette as got moves!!!!!! The pet scene is my favourite part of the movie like who thought of that lol I laugh at it on every rewatch it’s so stupid but hilarious. The characters were great I’ll start of with the one and only Spot known as Agent 11 obviously adorable except his fascination with balls, his rivalry with the mob boss Sonny was top tier level shit one of the greatest rivalries of all time haha the music choices for certain scenes I think the director was on drugs tbh, the facial expressions and noises spot made were so strange definitely not a normal dog. Gordon was one of the most clumsiest, stupidest characters I’ve seen the part where he gets locked out the house and gets covered in “ Ca, Ca” was absolutely disgusting but so funny how the hell did the police let that guy take care of a kid after that? It was cool to see a young Angus.T.Jones before he got his big Two and a half men role I liked his relationship with Gordon throughout the movie. Stephanie didn’t get a easy ride either and then to to it of she got home to find out her son was nearly killed my a mob pretty good trip I would say. Benny was great the scenes he was in Antony Anderson literally feels like the same character in every movie I’ve seen him in, Murdoch was easily a standout his lines were hilarious RIP to the actor. "This is not a smile, my face is frozen like this". Sonny was a fun protagonist it’s mad for a family film we had the vision be a mafia group weird choice but it works for this movie, his two henchmen if you can them that lol because there both complete idiots Gino and Arliss were both probably my favourite two characters. I really liked the ending that poor Jack Russell though how did survive getting thrown out of a window FairPlay to the little guy he didn’t give up. As you can tell I adore See Spot Run wish it was more popular you don’t get movies like this anymore which is a shame. 10/10.
I never heard of this film until my friend told me about it, but I’m glad i watched it as films like this are just awesome. Look, I know it’s not a masterpiece or anything, but I love silly movies like this one. I watched a bunch of these types of films growing up, and sadly you just don’t get them anymore. I think people criticise them way too often and forget to have fun with them. I mean movies like this never get good ratings, so it didn’t surprise me that this had 24% on Rotten Tomatoes. I don’t care, i thought it was really fun, and I dunno if my sense of humour sucks, but I honestly laughed all throughout it. The story’s nothing special, but you can’t take anything in this film very seriously. It’s just absolutely bonkers, and super wacky which’s why I liked it so much. It’s also so random, like what the hell was that dance scene even about as it came from nowhere. You know what, I don’t care I freaking loved it, and David Arquette nailed those dance moves. I think my favourite part has to be the pet store scene because that was just wild. I mean how the hell did Gordon even get that big as he was massive. I also loved when Gordon got locked out of his house by Spot, and got absolutely covered in Spot’s shit. Again this movies just so random which made all of these situations even funnier. Gordon himself was a really funny character, and it’s crazy how David Arquette somehow looks younger here than what he does in the first Scream film. I liked Benny and Murdoch as well, who may look tough, but trust me he was a complete imbecile as cops go. Spot himself was very cute, and I loved the little mumbling noises he makes. I have no idea how the hell Paul Sorvino is in this film, and it’s crazy how this is meant to be like a silly movie, yet he’s still the same sort of character as he is in Goodfellas. Except here he gets his freaking balls bitten off by a dog. I guess you don’t see that in a gangster movie do you ? His henchmen, Gino and Arliss were great too, and were probably my favourite part about the whole movie. I have no idea how the hell those guys were gangsters because they were absolute retards honestly. The fact that they were meant to be tough mobsters, and yet couldn’t take out a dog really says it all about these two. Overall I really enjoyed this movie, yeah it’s silly, yeah it’s ridiculous, but it’s fun, and I do think people take films like this way too seriously when it comes to rating them. I don’t care I’m giving See Spot Run a 9 out of 10, and you can bet I’m getting this for my blu ray collection. Fuck yeah!! 9/10
>"Is Agent 44 your pet? No he is not, he is an FBI Agent. You wouldn't tickle a fellow agent's underbelly, would you?" For these types of movies I need to bring out my inner child to rate them. David Arquette really committed to this role and while the jokes were mainly physical humor and fart related, they were harmless and some were a little funny. I wish I had watched this as a kid to appreciate it more.
