Poorly written and paced. Just could not get into it.

This reminds me of Possession (which is my favorite movie of all time) with some tweaks. It's a disturbing and erotic sci-fi-horror-drama movie that has a lot to say. It's about crumbling relationship finding this weird tentacle creature which give them pleasure and also destruction. It also talks about toxic masculinity and homophobia in our society. I really appreciate how bold and brave it is. Excellent piece backed with captivating visual, solid production, excellent actors, great CGI and spot-on score. It was perfectly paced, vague but clear enough to deliver what it has to say.
