Well,i was amazed,at first i thought ,this will just be "a run-of-the-mill, 20-minute OVA."with an generic story and all that. Little did I know I would fall in love with it. Firstly the animation,it just looks ripped out from the pages of a manga which makes it uniquely stand out. I would like to point out the introduction of the movie where we see the main character Amamya Tetsu and his creature Cenco in a single, brief scene, their deep connection becomes evident,a bond that i would have liked to be explored more. The original soundtrack created by Ryo from Supercell fits perfectly in the science fiction bubble and also adding intensity to the fight scenes. The only negative point is unfortunately the lack of history of the characters we do not have a clear description of them and the lore is not really fleshed out due to the limited runtime. In the end Cencoroll is a mustsee if you love kaiju battles but also if you are a fan of indie animation.
