The humor works in parts, especially in those everyday interactions, nothing forced, just flowing. And that whole contrast between the two worlds keeps it engaging for a while. It does stretch a bit though. Some portions feel longer than needed, and you can see the beats coming. Still, it has that light, easygoing charm that carries it through even when it slows down.
