The purpose of the movie is to make an incisive social critique, but the script leaves a lot to be desired. Everything sounds simplistic, with poorly constructed dialogues and artificial dynamics that don't convince. This problem is exacerbated by the weak performances, which lack naturalness and, at times, are embarrassing. Overall, the movie is shallow and it's a challenge to get to the end.
