I was pleasantly surprised. Very good cast and the plot balances well between drama and comedy, often showing the absurd sides of war.

Despite a light tone and a rocking soundtrack this is still a perceptive look at aid workers struggling with the futility of politics in a combat zone. Way better than I thought it was going to be, I highly recommend the film. Nearly perfect.

A day in the life of aid workers in Bosnia with shabby settings.

I was in Croatia during the war in 1995 with a peace association, we were unable to move from Zagreb. I returned there a year later, when the peace treaties were signed. We brought humanitarian aid to Mostar.I was shocked by the diversity of its city halves, the eastern one completely destroyed, while the west one is still in good condition. This movie vaguely manages to withstand the complexity of the situation between Bosnians, Croats and Serbs. In any case, it's a good film, with excellent performances by Robbins and Del Toro.

This was a story well told. A slice of life movie about a day in the life of aid worker in the war torn Balkans. Good performances. Interesting point of view. I give the movie a 7 (good) out of 10.
