I'm unsure about how to feel about the movie. The acting was great, but I think I don't really get the message and I'm kind of sad about the ending, it leaves me unsatisfied and uncomfortable.

Being gay and being a Christian does have not to be mutually exclusive, though there are those in both groups who believe that. An interesting true story, many will find meaning to the film, with the struggle to be true to yourself in the face of opposition. While the film's themes are open to debate, the world would be a more understanding place with a bit more open-mindedness and the understanding that God loves us, no matter who we are or what we have done in our lives.
