Very interesting film which is a documentary style about Walt's life before he created Mickey Mouse

Such a good idea for a film to show the very beginnings and the struggles of Walt Disney before it became a dynasty. The casting is perfect. The plot development however was a bit rough, as yes on the surface the big plot points were covered well, but the important details of the story were a bit hard to follow and sometimes glazed over and not made more clearly. However, there is so much to cover and that is the reason for the long runtime. But due to this the ending felt a bit rushed and they could have spent more time on the impact that Mickey made instead of just flashing on the screen the facts of how big it all became.

This was too uninteresting and downbeat. If you want to watch 2 hours of failure, watch this. Not inspiring at all.

This might be inspiring to some, but for me it seems typical, and even a little more dramatic than what I'd imagine actually happened. Of all the biographies of late, I still like it better than Jobs (2013), the Steve Jobs one. I'm an aspiring artist myself, and I appreciate what Walt Disney has contributed to animation. Frankly with this film, I was only interested in this just for my Full House crush, Jodie Sweetin; total hottie!

Old fashioned and watered down account of the early career of Walt Disney. Earns an extra star for incorporating actual footage of Disney's early cartoons.
