Very rarely does a sequel to a movie outperform the first, and in my opinion American Pie 2 does just that. The overall story and comedy was better than the classic hit of the first film and the acting got a lot better. This is my favorite film of the original trilogy.

By far the best of the lot, and never fails to make me laugh, and watching it again made it even better... great soundtrack...

"You... you want the band geek?" "Nadia, I am a band geek. I just never joined the band." You know, even though the first American Pie is so iconic and absolutely perfect to me, the sequels are just as good, if not better. One thing I can never decide is what my favourite one is, and American Pie 2 is dead close to being the best film in the franchise because it’s heck of a fun ride. Just like the first, it means so damm much to me and I can literally quote the entire movie back to back. It also has so many hilarious moments through out like the famous lesbian wallow talkie scene or Jim accidentally using freaking super glue to jack off. Both are my favourite moments in the film. They get me every single time. What I love about this one in particular is the romance between Jim and Michelle. Now usually I’m not into this sort of stuff (besides Twilight of course). But here it really worked, and honestly kind of made the film for me. Jim and Michelle’s chemistry is simply amazing and I always love how completely unhinged Michelle is. The rest of the cast are of course fantastic like Kevin, Oz, Finch and the idiot himself, Stifler, who was his usual wacky self, and willing to take one for the team. Seriously I can’t believe he would’ve jerked off Jim just to watch those two Lesbians make out. The lengths this guy goes at getting some action is wild. While everyone pretty much had a happy ending in this movie, especially Jim. There was one character in particular who didn’t manage to get any luck at the party itself, but got something even better on. Yes I’m of course taking about Finch, who once again hooks up with the MILF of his dreams, Janine, better knows as Stiflers Mom. Good for you Finchy!! I’m obviously gonna give this another 10 out of 10 as it’s just as good as the first. Like I said at the start of my review, I can never decide what my favourite movie in this franchise is because I genuinely love them all equally. This one is definitely a very strong contender for first place though, especially for that epic soundtrack alone (SUM 41. Hell yeah) 10/10
