Idk how to rate this. On one hand, it’s a troma film. And on the other, it’s a troma film. It delivers exactly what you’d expected and parody has a place in cinema. But boy it’s hard to not turn off. And isn’t that the point?! It certainly succeeded in making me both very uncomfortable and laugh at the same jokes. If you can’t stand this movie, that’s completely fair. I hate to admit it but I greatly dislike Citizen Kane so if I had to choose between watching this 50 times or Welles cry over his fucking sled, I’m going Toxie.

Just when you think it can't get any worse and more distasteful, along comes “Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV.” The film is just plain nasty. In the first three installments of the “Toxic Avenger” franchise, there were at least a few moments where the boundary-breaking humor worked. In “Citizen Toxie,” that was definitely no longer the case, at least for me. It was really torturous to stick with it up until the very end.
