I saw both movies when they were released. As it was then I enjoyed the first more. I saw them again now June 2025 one after the other. And although the first is for me undoubtedly superb...this one comes to complete and finish the stories. And bring some closure for some characters. I loved it. A special hats off to Dame Maggie Smith. What a life.....we need to remember to can have as many as we want....age gender pain....they are words with meaning...but so are beginnings...courage...resilience. And this movie is about those. I loved it.

Less comedy, more nostalgic. The plot is an extension of the original. It lacked the "wow" effect of the first part.
