Secound time around and I can say that the first is by far the best out of both. Same old gags but still not a bad film and didn't fail to make me laugh.

Serviceable sequel. Yes, it's more of the same, but more of a good thing is still a good thing.

Obviamente está bastante por debajo de Airplane!, pero eso no significa que sea una mala película. Sigue teniendo un humor muy bueno y te hace reír bastante, aunque se nota que quisieron repetir la misma fórmula cambiando un par de cosas y listo. Los juegos de palabras siguen funcionando, pero ya no se sienten tan frescos. Aun así, Jacobs sigue siendo el mejor personaje por lejos. Cada vez que aparece me cago de risa. Mi detalle favorito fue cuando el terrorista está comprando la bomba y atrás aparece el póster de Rocky 38. Esas boludeces son exactamente las que amo de las comedias de los 80. Lo de llevar todo al espacio no me terminó de convencer. Siento que pierde un poco la esencia de la primera, aunque tampoco arruina la película. Si te encantó Airplane!, claramente tenés que verla. No llega al nivel de la original, pero sigue siendo una muy buena comedia.

Yeah its diminishing returns on a lot of repeated jokes but there's some new ones that land and its still absolutely watchable, just not a knock out of the park the original was.

7:00 mark. Yar’s Revenge reference!! R.o.k. 4000. Ha. Multiple 2001 Space Odyssey actually! And why is there so much stalking movies in the 80’s? First ever example of explaining mansplaning? I had to lookup Moral Majority. It makes sense after reading and must have been lol in its time.
