Frosty’s adventures continue in Rankin/Bass’s _Frosty’s Winter Wonderland_. The children decide to make Frosty a wife so that he won’t be lonely anymore; meanwhile Jack Frost grows jealous of the attention that Frosty’s getting and decides to steal his magic hat. Jackie Vernon returns to voice Frosty, and is joined by Shelley Winters and Andy Griffith. While Mrs. Frosty proves to be a fun new character, Frosty kind of loses his specialness by having the children be able to make snow people without any magical items. And Jack Frost ends up being a rather weak villain. But minor quibbles aside, _Frosty’s Winter Wonderland_ is an entertaining and enjoyable TV special that’s full of Christmas spirit.
