Really enjoyed this one, and my favorite Jean Gabin performance I've seen. Wikipedia classifies this as poetic realism, but it felt more like a proto-noir to me. The sets, lighting, dames, etc. all left me with the same feelings I get when watching some of the noir greats. The Point Break-style ending was brilliant. Also shout out to Lucas Gridoux's performance as Slimane, which was just so enjoyable.
