Worth a watch. The ending gets a bit silly, but it's a really fun watch. The leads are all quite charming, despite the regrettable haircuts on Beckinsale and Townsend, both of whom I could watch and listen to for hours. Whenever Kate is in a movie I always wait with baited breath when I don't know whether or not she's playing an American. While her American accent is convincing, here she's thankfully using her gorgeously immaculate native accent and delivery. There's nothing that has "aged poorly" (aside blow-up dolls being used mostly as a sight gag), but it's interesting seeing things that look especially bizarre, or are completely out of time with modern audiences-- in both cases concerning telecom. There's a scene that's meant to be funny (and is), where people are angrily taking out their slide-screen phones with full horizontal tactile keyboards and dialing numbers, and now it accidentally looks like a scene out of an alien takeover movie. Likewise, there's a scene that anyone past Millennials probably wouldn't get, where Townsend's character dials a time and date service in Sao Paulo to run up someone's long distance bill, and on a novelty stiletto heel landline phone.
Other British grifters with a briefcase of cash, but a beauty.
