OK... the biggest inaccuracy.... Mt Vesuvius in located on the mainland of Italy, however, Pomeii is an island located miles offshore - the reason why it was so well preserved after the 79AD/CE is because of it being an island and cover in ash, not lava!!!!!! The island was abandoned after the 79 eruption! Although it is crap, like a F Grade disaster movie, I'll continue to watch the train wreck for its popcorn value.
