Mr. Turner turned out as dull as I expected. Authentic production design and costumes, nice scenery and a good turn by Timothy Spall couldn't make up for the fact the subject matter and screenplay were ridiculously boring.

The brilliant painter had his own character. 

A decent biopic about the quirky British painter Turner. The movie lives from the excellent performance of Timothy Spell.

A bit bizarre, but I liked it minus a few scenes
