Really enjoyed watching this, was quite funny and had a good feel to it. Wasn't bored at all throughout.
NOTE FOR MYSELF SO I REMEMBER SOMEDAY, ONLY REPRESENTS MY OPINION/THOUGHTS FOR MYSELF NOT A “REAL REVIEW“, SO YOU PROBABLY WONT AGREE WITH IT (also its not my 1st language)
7.5 -love a depressing tone -great acting and great chemistry -very real, I don't have siblings but it felt like this was a realistic portrayal -same for the mental health issues aspect (expect for thats something I do have x'D)
this is a very nice story and I like it a lot :)
"Some of us have our secrets, and some of us have our reasons, Maggie." I don't know why but for the past couple of months I come across the "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" lip-sync scene when I scroll through Instagram and I kept wondering, what could this movie be about? Because the caption nine out of ten times says something along the lines of: find yourself a partner like this. So when the movie started out and they are brother and sister and it goes dark very quickly, I was like damn. The Skeleton Twins is worth a watch for sure. Kristen Wiig, Luke Wilson and Bill Hader are all very good. You see a lot of struggle and most of it feels pretty grounded. The little pieces of information they give us makes it work. Luke Wilson is great as Kristen Wiig's husband, the lip-sync scene will never leave my memory, the ending could've been really dark, two goldfish didn't see the end of the movie, Ty Burrell will always be Phil Dunphy to me and now I'm out to see more dramatic stuff from Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig to see what else they have in their bag. The Skeleton Twins is not what you expect it two be with these two in the lead but it is worth watching.
