I grew up with the OG movie, and it scarred me. No I never read the book Anyone who says that this is the better interpretation needs their head checked. This movie is shockingly bad, and this comes from someone who considers Manos a decent watch. Don't waste your time. Watch the original. This is so bad I nearly self -harmed while making dinner.

"Kiernan Shipka" is the one that stands out the most in this second movie (but this time made for "📺") adaptation of such a controversial book after the first movie adaptation from "1987" of which I'm 50/50 on both being better than each other.

A disappointing made for TV remake. Skip this and just rewatch the original 80’s blockbuster.
