[AtlàntidaFF, 4K] A restored rarity that is both seductive and irregular. Reflection on man's capacity for self-destruction, with some simplistic dialogues, turns a hotel room cornered by the civil war in Jordan into a metaphor for the future of humanity. A colorful cinematography is recovered in a closed space in which the relationship between the robot and the human is fed by the good performings of Tilda Swinton and Bill Paterson.
**Great dialogue and wonderfully performed by both leads. Worth a viewing.** This could’ve been more successful had the conversation stayed existential instead of veering into social commentary. >_Friendship: “I dream of impossible objects.”_
