Meh…I love the classic JCP/NWA shows but this one just didn't do much for me. The best thing was the match between the Road Warriors and the Midnight Express (Jim Cornette actually broke his leg when he dropped from the scaffold at the conclusion of the match); the match between Nikita Koloff and Ric Flair was great but had a really sucky ending. Typical JCP card, though, and that was the one thing that I always hated about Crockett Promotions: either the heels always won, or the faces would get away with bending the rules to secure a win (yes, I'm looking at you, Rock & Roll Express)…or in many cases, the conclusion was inconclusive so the feuds were on-going for infinity. It got boring after awhile, and this particular Starrcade - even with the intriguing scaffold match (Google it for some great stories!) - was typical of JCP cards.

During the final match between Flair and Koloff, Flair picks up Koloff and then falls backwards dropping both of them to the mat, unfortunately Flair was holding Koloff's tights and revealed Little Koloff. The ref had to run over and cover him up. Oops..
