A precursor to the rise of viral videos and a successor to the old days of underground tape-trading, this is a mashed collection of the most absurd and insane stuff you’ll ever find on broadcast television, second in a series of six. Exhausted, in-over-their-head QVC personalities hawking Beanie Babies, facepalm-worthy public access music videos, theatrical TV preachers, long-winded conspiracy theorists; there's really a bit of everything in here. It's often ferociously funny, a car-crash example of empty programming at its worst, but can also grow mean-spirited and dark. Gary Coleman swallows a slice of particularly sour coverage in the last half-hour, for example, a harsh spotlight that makes for uncomfortable viewing and pumps the brakes on the maniacal laughs that were abundant moments earlier. Light but horribly twisted, it's great material for intoxicated weekend viewing but habitually overstays its welcome and visits the well once or twice too often.
