The plot, centered on the relationships between characters, deals with themes such as class differences, the banality of the bourgeoisie and misogyny in an ironic, sarcastic and sometimes crude way, where the main character, whose only genuine display of affection is for his son, maintains possessive and obsessive relationships with women. The film as a whole features numerous erotic scenes, many of them random, and abrupt cuts, which occasionally compromise the narrative fluidity. Despite this, the end result manages to convey its intention of portraying a sinfully cruel reality.
