Brock just couldn't keep going after losing to a black man
This was a better show, but still missed the big Wrestlemania feel yet again, certainly better than Day 1. All the matches were entertaining, but I am not sure about the wrestling which some of us fans like. Well that's WWE. 1. Oba vs Brock was good, but too short. It was heartbreaking to see Brock retiring (been watching him since his first match), but I am pretty sure he is not. Maybe 1 more match is in the cards. 2. Demon Finn returned, if WWE wants to sell their shows, they need to use more of Demon Finn. 3. Trick is a star, people just love him, even if he is not a face. Good to see him winning the title. 4. Main event was ok, hope soon WWE will push new stars instead. I am just glad Punk lost. Enough of WWE pushing him and Cody. Even if Roman is a part time, he is a ticket seller. 5. To my relief, I didn't have to see anymore Hogan Ads, still the show had very less wrestling and was draggy. Somehow i feel the whole show could have been put into a single night. 6. I really wish I could have fast-forwarded the Danhausen and Miz segment, that was bullcrap when it's not funny. Who were their target audiences? Pre-school kids? Come on! Still expected some shockers or surprises, well nothing happened. It was a show better than day 1, but not something someone would go and watch again.
WrestleMania 42 Sunday was a clear step up from Saturday and delivered a much stronger overall experience. The energy was higher, the matches hit harder, and it felt closer to what you expect from a WrestleMania-level show. That said, a lot of the same frustrations still lingered. The heavy ad presence, shorter match times, and the continued focus on creating “moments” over fully fleshed-out matches kept it from reaching that all-time level. WWE’s presentation is still second to none — everything looked massive — but the substance didn’t always match the spectacle. It’s a good show and a noticeable improvement, but it also reinforces the idea that splitting WrestleMania into two nights can dilute what should be one truly great, definitive event. Best Match: Punk vs Reigns Rating: 4/5 – 85% – Would Recommend
You know Roman is winning and taking a long break with the belt. When he is already not around that much. Other than that night 2 has been better than night 1 so far.
