This was really a nice little film. It is hard to believe that it was written and directed by a first-timer (Lake Bell, who also stars). Sometimes a film can just be enjoyable to watch without worrying about how ambitious it is. This would be one of those films. follow me at https://IHateBadMovies.com

Loved it. Lake Bell is so awesome. But I felt like the movie could've been a bit longer.

I went into this one completely by accident on TV, and found it hilarious. A fresh premise and a good length. It also kept throwing surprises, which is both pretty important and pretty rare in a comedy. The best parts are the dialogues – not just their writing, but also their pacing and acting are excellent. I don't usually laugh out loud when watching a movie by myself, but it happened a good half a dozen times here. You may like it a little less if you prefer storylines to be nicely resolved and people fully comeuppeanced, but for me this was a very enjoyable surprise.
