Starts with promise, but never gets going. Baby Do Die Do opens on a promising note. The setup is intresting enough to make you believe you're in for a gripping thriller. But unfortunately, that's where the film peaks. The biggest issue is that the story simply refuses to move forward. Scene after scene passes without adding anything meaningful, making the narrative feel stagnant. For a film that banks on mystery and suspense, there's barely any tension to keep you invested. Emotionally too, the film falls flat. None of the characters leave an impact, and the emotional beats never land. The writing is painfully blunt, offering no surprises or layers to the storytelling. What's even more disappointing is how predictable everything is. The so-called twist "I'm not Baby" is something the film practically reveals from the very first scene. By the time it's officially unveiled, it carries zero shock value because you've already seen it coming from miles away. A thriller lives and dies by its ability to keep the audience guessing. Baby Do Die Do does neither. It starts with potential but quickly runs out of ideas, ending up as a predictable and emotionally hollow experience.
